#refugeeswelcome

Problem: Thousands of refugees have come to this country to escape oppression and war. Many have ended up right here in Louisville. But they still need help, namely warm clothes to help the get through the upcoming cold months. "But what can I do," you may be thinking?

Solution: Collaboration of artists for a great cause! So on January 22 2016 PLEASE bring new or gently used winter accessories (coats, gloves, scarves and hats) to Kaiju to enjoy some great music from M.I.N.D., The Muddy Walters, and Ed Monk, with live painting from Ryan Case!

All donations, the painting being created that night, as well as 10% of bar sales will be donated to Kentucky Refugee Ministries. Help us help them help those that need help the most.
* Donations can be dropped off at the drop-off site at Kaiju pre-show or the night of. All CLOTHING donations can also be accepted at any Goodwill in town (when you turn in your items, ask for them to be added to Kentucky Refugee Ministries account so that they can assign vouchers to clients as needed!)
